Biology Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNRI Holds Inauguration of BPH and DPO HIMABIO 2026
Following the successful completion of the 2026 Organizational Training: Leadership and Emotional Skills series, the Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), University of Riau, continued its student organization development agenda by holding the inauguration of the 2026 HIMABIO FMIPA UNRI Executive Board (BPH) and Organizational Advisory Council (DPO). This was held on Saturday, January 25, 2026.
This inauguration marked a crucial milestone in the leadership regeneration process within the Biology Student Association. After receiving various materials on leadership, organizational management, and emotional intelligence during the training, the students were officially inaugurated to assume the mandate and responsibility of being the primary drivers of HIMABIO for the 2026 term.
The inauguration of the 2026 HIMABIO BPH and DPO was carried out solemnly and meaningfully, symbolizing the new management's commitment to carrying out organizational duties professionally, with integrity, and focused on developing the potential of FMIPA UNRI Biology students. The DPO is expected to provide strategic direction, oversight, and consideration in organizational policy-making to ensure alignment with the academic vision and institutional values.
Through this activity, the Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Riau (UNRI), reaffirmed its support for strengthening student organizations as strategic non-academic learning platforms. HIMABIO serves not only as a student organization but also as a space for character development, leadership, and social awareness among Biology students.
With the inauguration of the BPH and DPO of HIMABIO FMIPA UNRI in 2026, it is hoped that the new management will be able to implement work programs optimally, innovatively, and sustainably, while actively contributing to supporting the academic atmosphere and student activities in the Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Riau.
